Although travel through Africa is possible without your own vehicle, it has considerable limitations. We have therefore chosen to embark on our trans-African travels in our own vehicle. Let the adventures begin!
I have split up the vehicle section into several sub-sections in an attempt to provide useful information for all the items that we had to deal with. I have learned a tremendous amount on this trip about vehicle mechanics and outfitting for safari. Please do not hestiate to contact me if you are planning an overland trip and have any questions!
