Trip Repairs

There have been many! I plan to update this section with details and pictures of all the break downs!

A few of the problems we have encountered, ranging from simply annoying to a little more serious:

• Split rim
• Broken off hooter
• Leaking carburettor
• Failed mechanical vacuum advance
• Intermittent starter relay
• Rectifer diodes in altenator
• Broken leaf springs
• Broken suspension bolts and shackels
• Leaking hubs
• Broken brake line bracket
• Leaking swivel pins
• Brake failure
• Broken exhaust manifold gasket
• Broken exhaust hanger
• Broken off air-horns
• Broken mirror
• Wheel bearings
• Cracked solenoid
• Cracked radiator mounting
• Radiator leak
• Leaking oil pressure sensor
• Worn tie-rod ends
• Severely worn Railko bushes and lower swivel pin bearings
• Engine overheating - needed to replace the cylinder head gasket!
