<p>If you have purchased a vehicle in South Africa and plan on exporting it and importing it into another country, there is one piece of advice I can give - make sure to get a <i>police clearance</i> before you leave South Africa!</p>

<p>A police clearance is necessary for importing the vehicle into other African countries. I am not sure what the requirements are for Europe or North America, but will post these details when I find out.</p>
