In this section of the website I hope to post some planning and travel tips for the various continents and countries visited.

The amount of planning required depends on the length of your trip. We quickly discovered that for a trip that extends beyond a year, significantly more planning is involved.

Don't get too caught up in planning everything down to the last detail as most of the time things will transpire differently than expected!
